Supporting the Future of Frozen Food: Matthew Waldeck appointed to BFFF’s Young Leaders Forum
Ambrey Baker Construction is pleased to announce that Matthew Waldeck, Head of Client Solutions, has been appointed to the British Frozen Food Federation’s Young Leaders Forum.
The BFFF Young Leaders Forum was launched in March 2020 to bring together professionals from across the frozen food sector to explore initiatives that support and promote the industry, while building stronger connections between businesses and future leaders.
The forum provides members with access to industry expert talks, site visits, insight into different business operations and opportunities to engage with fellow BFFF members. Its programme is designed to develop knowledge across the supply chain and encourage collaboration between organisations operating in frozen food manufacturing, storage, distribution, technology and associated services.
For the 2026/2027 programme, Young Leaders Forum members are scheduled to visit Speciality Breads, Campden BRI, Space Maker Inc and ifp-labs. Further site visits and online sessions are also being planned.
Matthew’s appointment reflects Ambrey Baker’s continued involvement in the food sector. As Head of Client Solutions, Matthew works with clients to understand their operational requirements and identify practical routes for expansion, refurbishment and estate modernisation. His role covers client relationships, business development and strategic partnerships across the sectors Ambrey Baker serves.
Matthew said: “The Young Leaders Forum provides a valuable opportunity to learn directly from businesses across the frozen food supply chain to understand the operational challenges and opportunities facing the sector. I look forward to meeting fellow members, visiting the businesses involved in the programme and contributing to discussions that support the future of frozen food.”
Matthew’s participation will help strengthen Ambrey Baker’s understanding of the evolving requirements of frozen food businesses and the infrastructure needed to support their growth. The forum will also provide opportunities to share perspectives from the construction and industrial property side of the sector, including the role of resilient facilities, efficient layouts and operational continuity.
