Structural Repairs

Structural repairs restore the strength, stability and safety of buildings where damage, deterioration or movement affects critical load-bearing elements.
Ambrey Baker delivers structural repair works across industrial buildings, warehouses and operational facilities where maintaining structural integrity is essential for safe operation.
Our team repairs and strengthens steel frames, reinforced concrete elements, structural floors, roof structures and load-bearing walls. Works may include corrosion treatment, concrete crack repair, additional steel members, bonded strengthening systems and resin injection.
We can also replace damaged structural components. Each repair solution is developed to restore structural performance and extend the service life of the building.
We base all works on a project-specific structural assessment. We also develop repairs with reference to relevant statutory requirements, structural design standards and engineering guidance.
Where applicable, this may also include the Building Regulations 2010 and Approved Document A (Structure), alongside the relevant structural design standards for the elements being repaired. We coordinate each solution to suit the condition of the building, the loading requirements and the operational demands of the site.
Each project begins with a structured assessment to identify the cause of deterioration and determine the most appropriate repair strategy. We then plan works carefully to maintain safe working conditions and minimise disruption within live operational environments.
With 40 years of experience in industrial construction, Ambrey Baker provides practical structural repair solutions that protect both the building and the business operating within it.
